TSL – The DTV Digest – Episode 055 – Massacre County, Gremlin’s Curse, Alien Contagion

Mike and Dave take a look at three of this week’s releases Unfortunately only Dave managed to track down MASSACRE COUNTY, a derivative horror from Brazil so he had to deliver a rare solo review. Then the pair take on GREMLIN’S CURSE before moving on to the very icky (and – spoilers – very good) ALIEN CONTAGION (aka BIOSLIME). Plus there are all the other usual goodies – the DTV Chart, a very large Coming Soon Section and the Washing Up!

Thank you so much for reviewing Massacre County. Maybe it helps getting it into the supermarkets. 😉
I’d like to explain about the black stripe over Lena’s breasts. In Brazil we had that censorship on our 80’s films. And Massacre County is a homage to that as well. BUUUT, inf you watch it to the end, there’re some flash frames of her breast just before final credits. The black stripe was a joke we played on the audience that was expecting some nudity. The film is kind of a mockery along with all the gore.
